About Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC)

Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) is the first aid standard of training taught by the National Ski Patrol.
All ski patrollers at Spring Mountain must be certified as OEC Technicians and refresh annually to wear the uniform and patrol.

OEC at Spring Mountain

An OEC class is taught annually at Spring Mountain.
Usually the class runs from the beginning of September through December.
It meets Thursday evenings and Saturday days.
